Simply Moodle Students cover

This course is a companion to the booklet "Simply Moodle: Student Guide" that was created in December 2015 to provide simplified instructions for learners
(students) who need to use the UnBQ Moodle site to complete blended, online, and
distance education courses.
Included in this booklet are instructions on how to:

  •  access and navigate the site
  •  find and do activities in courses
  •  change email notifications settings
  •  participate in wikis and blogs
  •  and much more…

NOTE: An additional booklet “Simply Moodle: Instructor Guide” has been created to offer
simplified instructions to instructors on how to complete required tasks in courses that use
Moodle as their LMS (Learning Management System).

In this course,educators learn how to create online courses that complement classroom-based instruction and foster student interaction using the free learning management system (LMS) Moodle.

The course details the basics of:

  • setting up a test environment,
  • disseminating course information,
  • creating forums, and
  • assessing student progress.

Instructors will also learn how to prepare and post various types of media, upload assignments, and evaluate tests automatically.
